Create a democratic and peaceful society based on the principles of equality, transparency and justice through social mobilization, knowledge and capacity development and advocating the rights of underprivileged, especially children and women.
Goals:

  • Influence policy and decision making for people centered rights based development
  • Improve socio economic conditions of poor and vulnerable segments of the society
  • Reduce poverty and vulnerability of poor communities through a community based approach
  • Enhance human and institutional capacities of partners, CBOs, CSOs and government line agencies for better coordination and delivery of services
  • Advocacy for the human rights

Core strategies:         
CRSD being rights based and capacity development organization uses spectrum of approaches and strategies for the well being of masses. Taking into account the dynamics of community development i.e. social mobilization coherence making, knowledge and relationship building sometimes integrated and sometimes well structured and broad based strategies are used. Generally, RDP uses following set of strategies:

1.                  Social Mobilization and Organization

2.                  Capacity building and knowledge enhancement

3.                  Community Development and Natural Resource Management

4.                  Advocacy through linkages and networking
